What Causes Thickening Of Oblique Fissure At The Right Side Of Abdomen?

hi doctor my husband has ct abdomen reported that lower chest cuts showing minimal thickening of the oblique fissure at the right side he is asymptomatic. no cough ,fever or weight loss,not smoker.had h.x of trauma and rt rib fracture in childhood....what could be the cause thankyou

Hello,

As you explain the situation it means that sometimes in his lifespan he has done a pneumonia or other lung infection which has left a scar in his lung. If he has no signs and symptoms than no worries. Nothing else to be done.
