What Causes Thigh Weakness With Abasia?

Hi Doctor, my father has weekness in the thighs and is unable to walk, age is 69, weight is 85 and height is 5.8 feet. He had a spinal cord surgery at his lower back 6 months ago. He now has a lot of pain in the operated area and also has weekness in the thighs.
