What Causes Thinning Of Hair Along With Weight Gain?

Hi I am wondering what I can do because I have been noticing several changes. I have always had thick hair and in the last 6 months it has really become thin. I als am really struggling with my weight which I have always been able to keep in check with diet and excersise and it does not seem to be working. I’m 52 and have always had energy and I am feeling sluggish. What can I do?

Hi, I have read your question and understand your concerns.

Answer: A number of reasons should be considered for your condition. As you have mentioned that you have put on weight and feeling very sluggish and low on energy, I would recommend that you go to see a doctor who will examine you and run some tests to check for your thyroid function and rule out other conditions such as depression and anemia.

Hope this helps, and please do not hesitate to contact me for any further clarification.
