What Causes Throat Ache And Breathing Difficulty After Consuming Alcohol?
I just got back to Buffalo, NY from being in Breckenridge and Denver for my cousin s wedding. I was drinking for the wedding. I got sick early this morning after the flight when I took a drag off of a cigarette (first one in a while, apparently the nicotine did not agree with me). Now I m having pains in my throat and I feel like I m not getting enough oxygen. Could I have done something to my throat when I got sick this morning?

This is most likely due to allergy of some kind. It's possible to be allergic to alcohol and or cigarette. This may cause constriction and narrowing to the wind pipes leading to lack of breath.
Treatment -Take anti histamines. Avoid such drinks and smoking.
