What Causes Throat And Ear Pain Along With Headaches?
Hello.. I m a 41 year old black female. I ve been sick with a cold for about 2 days, throat hurts, ears are killing ME, headache, I don t know if I have a fever. I m feeling very jittery and dizzy. What to do? I also have Gatorade and ginger ale, I ve been eating soup.
I would advise you to start course of antibiotics. You should take Azithromycin 500 mg (Azee 500) once a day for 3 days. For cold, you should start antihistamine Levocetrizine 5 mg (Levocet) once a day for 5 days. In addition, you should take over the counter available cough drops and lozenges for symptomatic relief. Steam inhalation will also help as decongestant and relieving sinus pressure.
However, if the pain does not go away in 3-5 days, you should consult an ENT specialist for clinical examination and further investigations.
I hope this information helps you. Thank you for choosing HealthcareMagic. I wish you feel better soon.
Best, Dr. Viraj Shah
