Hello,

As per your query, you have symptoms of throat discomfort and difficulty in swallowing which could be due to granular pharyngitis and due to acid reflux disease.

Need not to worry. I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper examination and to rule out other condition like sore throat.

The doctor may order blood test and throat swab test to confirm diagnosis. The doctor may also prescribe antibiotics course for around 10 days.

For now, what you can do is gargling and rinsing with warm saline water. Avoid spicy food and heavy food and elevate your head while sleeping.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Harry Maheshwari
