What Causes Throat Discomfort Leading To Cough?
I am a 23 yr. F that is active and never had any pulmonary problems. 2 years ago I started having stabbing chest pains with inhalation/movement randomly and expierenced my first asthma attack is what the doctor called it. During my asthma attack my throat felt as it was closing and stridor sounds could be heard. Now I get these bubbles that I can feel coming up my throat and make me cough only once with each episode. Not really to sure where all of these problems are coming from. Advice for what tests I can do or what it could be?

Hello,
It may be due to sore throat.
Still for further assessment you may require complete hemogram, throat swab, chest x ray after ENT consultation.
Further treatment mainly depends upon the underlying condition.
You may require antibiotics after consultation.
Continue saline or betadine gargles twice a day.
Continue steam inhalation.
Take hygienic food and water.
Avoid smoking and hot and spicy food
