What Causes Throat Discomfort While Swallowing?

Hi Doctor, Yesterday morning when I woke up, I feel a small tiny obstacle when swallowing salaiva, food, water etc in my left side of my throat. Its not paining. It s been 12 hours now, Now when I breath , I feel air passing through that obstacle. Please advise thanks. Pragadeesh

Hello dear
I understand your concern
Your symptoms could be due to sore throat, tonsil enlargement, esophagitis.
Throat examination by physician, swab test, ESR, CBC will help in the diagnosis.
Doctor will give following advises:
Tablet amoxiclav
Tablet ibuprufen
Tablet rantac
Drink plenty of lukewarm water.
Do gargle of warm water with added betadine
Avoid spicy/oily food
