General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

If you currently have a sore throat, it is likely that the blood is due to irritation/inflammation of the nose and throat passages due to infection.

It is unlikely related to cancer unless you are an older person who has a prolonged history of long term smoking and alcohol use.

Most infections are viral so you can try fluids, rest and pain killers to see if this helps.
This would include paracetamol, ibuprofen or naproxen.
Local gargles/sprays may also be used eg chloroseptic, diflam, covonia throat spray

I hope this helps
