Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query throat pain and dizziness after stopping smoking which is because of nicotine which is main ingredient in tobacco. Long term use of nicotine has effect on central nervous system and it activates sympathetic nervous system and resulting in adrenaline from adrenal medulla into blood stream which increases heart rate and blood pressure. As it is troubling you earlier also you should visit pulmonologist once and get it examined. Get blood test, throat swab test done and start treatment after proper prescription. I would suggest you to quit smoking as that is the only preventing measure. Drink plenty of fluids.

Hope your concern has been resolved.
