What Causes Throat Pain In Night?

I have seen my doctor who gave me 5 days of zpack antibiotics. Although I am tired in the morning much of the day seems ok, but EVERY night my throat suddenly starts hurting and it's like a golf ball is there and hard to swallow. Do not feel this during the day. What's going on?

Hello

Throat pain at night is very suggestive of acid refluxing into your throat from your stomach and you should meet your ent doctor for this , he may do an endoscopy on you to confirm this and guide you further. meanwhile i would like you to avoid hot and spicy food and take a light diet.
