Hello. Over the past couple of months I ve had 4-5 episodes of mild pain on the right side of my throat. I feel a general tightness in my throat as well. I ve also had occasional tingling on the right side of my tongue. I was diagnosed with Hashimoto s Thyroiditis about 2 years ago. Thank you for your time and perspective on what could be causing this issue.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of throat pain on the right side seems to be due to infection of the tonsils and bacterial infection of respiratory tract. Need not to worry. You should take green tea on daily basis in morning. Visit pulmonologist/ ENT specialist once and get it examined if symptoms keeps on persisting. You should get blood tests done as well and get it examined to rule out any hidden sytemic pathology. Take antibiotics course along with anti-inflammatory medications. Apply humidifiers in room.
