What Causes Throat Pain Swallowing?

Hello I am 17 my wieght is 76.6 .. I am about 165.. I only got this 3 days ago.. My lower throat on the right hand side hurts sometimes when I swallow.. its feels like its near my chest too and I don t know what it is .. I m having trouble explaining it but can you please tell me what it could be..

Hello,

The symptoms can be related to gastroesophageal reflux disease. I suggest using antacids such as Maalox three times a day. I also suggest using protein pump inhibitors to lower the acidity in the stomach such as Omeprazole 20 mg.
