What Causes Throat Swelling With Difficulty In Breathing?

Last night my throat swelled up making it difficult to breathe,weeping eyes, I had the chills and heaviness of limbs along with being off balance. This was followed by being over heated and having to strip and lay on our stone floor for relief. I woke up this morning and am now fine. I have no idea what caused it, my throat swelled before anything else occurred so I thought it was an allergic reaction, since I'm fine now that's what I'm leaning towards. What do you think?

some more information like your age, gender, any addiction, any previous episode, any other health issue etc needed, along with through ENT examination. Then can be told whether ENT related problem or any thing else.
