What Causes Throbbing Headache On Right Side Of The Head?

Hi , I have pulsating headache at the top of head right in the centre if I draw line from my one ear to the other. This has started since I had my disc degeneration two years back. Having regular physiotherapy at the back of my shoulder where I had injury. Could it possible they all are related together. I have taking pai killers, gives me temporary relief ...but cant avoid it ..please advise any solution. Thanks HARISH , AGE 42. HAD BEEN WORKING AS FORKLIFT DRIVER.

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern.
Pulsating or throbbing headache can be due to many reasons. But i don't think it has any relation to your disc degeneration or physiotherapy to this. Following causes may be there
1. Increased blood pressure can cause throbbing headache
2. migraine or cluster headache- these are second common cause
3. Meningitis an infection of layers of brain can cause throbbing headache.
4. It may be related to some ear related problem or referred pain from tooth.
5. Sinusitis which is infection of sinuses can also cause headaches

I want to ask you are you feeling some ear pain or tooth pain. If not then
First of all get your blood pressure checked.If BP is normal Visit a head specialist or neurologist.
