General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

You might have a sprain or possibly hairline fracture of foot bone. The diagnosis would be by X-ray of the. part. Please consult an orthopedic surgeon for detailed physical examination and needful X-ray followed by specific management. Till then, take rest, apply a ice pack ,take over the counter pain medicine after food. Do not massage till advised so.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Vasudha Jayant Athavale, General & Family Physician
