What Causes Throbbing Pain In Chest While Laying Down?

Hi I ve been trying to sleep but I m having the hardest time there s this throbbing pain that feels like it may be coming from my lungs but I m not sure it started a few hours ago while I was trying to sleep it only hurts when I lay down though, I don t know what I should do breathing doesn t hurt.

Thanks for your question on HCM. In my opinion you should get done chest x ray first as throbbing pain canbe seen in lung infection. If this is also normal, iadvice to gofor ECG to rule outcardiac cause.
If this is also normal, I think it is due to anxiety and stress.
Sobe calm and relax.
Also check your Hemoglobin and thyroid level as problem in these canalso sometimes cause pain in chest.
