What Causes Throbbing Pain In Chest?

i m a 28 yr male 5,6 ht. and 66 kg in wt. with no past medical or family history of any major disease.i am having a throbbing kind of pain just below the chest bone. since last 2 months. the pain appears suddenly and lasts for hours together.mostly starts in evening and lasts till next day afternoon or so.my hand and feets feel cold at that time , pain gets aggravated by deep inspiration and on sudden movement along with increasing heart rate to 90-100 /min. my B.P. is around 144/ 90 at times of pain and comes down when i don t have pain. at times i am free of this pain for days together. there is no local tenderness on chest or injury or cough. i have instigated for it and 2 D echo, Angiography are normal with slight rise in total cholesterol to 182 & high normal Thyroid function ie borderline T4 and normal TSH. Triglycerides are normal. i dont smoke or drink but consume around 5-6 cup of tea in a day.and am not on any medications. can you please guide me for further actions.

The characteristics that you provide strongly suggest a skeletal origin. That is even more likely if you can point to where it hurts with your finger. The blood pressure response to stress is normal. You have had testing to exclude life threatening disease. I would counsel nothing further and watchful waiting. A trial of anti inflammatory pain medicine like ibuprofen may help the discomfort and the response will help your doctor with the origin if symptoms don't resolve.
