What Causes Throbbing Pain In My Neck?

23, 5'5, 211...nothing really special about my medical past. not allergic to anything. sinuses are a pain but I believe that is due to deviated septum... anyways..throbbing pain in left side of neck. almost like my left ear is draining into my neck...feels like someone is pinching it...comes and goes gradually...
