Hi thanks for contacting heath care magic. In middle throat you have throbbing pain. So your physical examination must done first.... Check your posterior pharynx and floor of mouth for congestion.... It could be soft tissue infection at floor of mouth and if difficult swallowing then Ludwig angina can be there. Second tonsil checked....Acute tonsilitis might lead pain... And lastly acute thyroiditis infection can lead pain in throat..... Soft and bland diet taken. Excess spicy and fried restricted. You might needs to given antibiotic... If still cause not clear then chest x ray done for rule out respi cause..... Take care. Dr.Parth
