What Causes Thumping Feeling In Upper Abdomen Area?
Hi! for the past few minutes I have been experiencing a thumping feeling in my upper abdomen area. I am a female and am not currently sexually active, therefore I can t be pregnant. I am 15 and have had this kind of feeling in the same area a few times before, but it eventually goes away. Its similar to the feeling one has in the thighs when blood flow is impeded. When I touch my abdomen, I can feel the thumping feeling. It takes place in intervals of an average of 30 secs. Thanks in advance.

Most probably it will be a part of gastritis. As first-line management, you can take antacids like Pantoprazole or Omeprazole for symptomatic relief. If symptoms persist, it is better to consult a physician and get evaluated.
