General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The thumping sensation in ear and neck pain after injury over forehead do suggest possible post concussion effect. It is best recommended to consult your primary care for evaluation of hearing with Weber and Rinne test with other clinical parameters. One may need a CT scan of the head without contrast in certain cases if the
physician thinks for the same.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
