What Causes Tight Feeling In Lungs, Unable To Take Breath Without Coughing?

This morning my husband and i both woke up with a tight feeling in our lungs and unable to take deep breaths without coughing. We are not coughing anything up and not running a fever. He has had aches all over and i have felt nausea and been hot at times.

Thanks for your question on Health Care Magic. .
I can understand your concern.
In my opinion, you both are having viral upper respiratory tract infection.
It is highly contagious, so one of you have transmitted the infection to other.
Better to follow these steps.
1. Avoid oily and spicy food. Avoid hard to chew food.
2. Start antihistamines and anti inflammatory drugs.
3. Do warm water gargles 5-6 times a day.
4. Drink plenty of fluids orally and keep yourself hydrated.
Do all these for 5 days, and if you both are still not improving then consult doctor.
Hope I have solved your query.
I will be happy to help you further.
Wishing good health to both of you.
Thanks.
