What Causes Tightness Across Chest, Left Arm Pain And Pounding Heart?

symptoms are as follows. tightness across chest, with some ache into left upper arm. some shortness of breath, heart pounding, can feel pulse in neck, legs below the knee cramp up with just mild walking. most of these symptoms come on quite quickly if I have a full stomach, with stress brought on by climbing one flight of stairs. On an empty stomach, it take a lot more intense stressing to bring on symptoms. there is a considerable difference in the pain level between full and empty stomach.

The symptoms you describe could be caused by
-Respiratory/chest wall problems like pneumopathy(infections, obstructive pneumopathy...), Costochondritis, Strained chest wall muscle....
-Cardiovascular problems like coronary artery/ischemic heart diseases, pericarditis,myocarditis...
-Digestive problems like gastroesophageal reflux disease/heartburns...
-Other causes like anxiety
I will suggest you see the Doctor for examination and work-ups.Depending on the Doctor's diagnostic orientation, tests like a chest x-ray, ECG, spirometry , full blood count, endoscopy and others may be requested.
