What Causes Tightness And Pulling Sensation In The Lower Abdomen?

I am experiencing a tightness pulling in my lower left abdomen. My dr prescribed flagged and video othinkin it might be diverticulitis which I had before. I don t have having pain but more of a tightness and feeling of localized bloating or pressure. Is it possible I pulled a muscle from my hip bone towards my groin?

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Yes, pulled groin muscle can also cause similar symptoms.
But better to rule out abdominal cause first. So get done ultrasound examination of abdomen to rule out diverticulitis and other intestinal infection.
If ultrasound examination of abdomen is normal then no need to worry for abdominal cause.
Apply warm water pad on affected areas of abdomen.
Take painkiller and muscle relaxant drug.
Avoid heavyweight lifting and strenuous exercise. Avoid movements causing pain. Avoid bad postures in sleep.
Don't worry, you will be alright with all these.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
