What Causes Tightness And Swelling In Throat?
I recently moved from the Midwest to North Carolina. I ve never had a problem with allegories but I ve been pretty sneezy outside today. When I leave my air conditioned apt and walk outside my throat has been tightening up and feels like it s swollen with difficulty swallowing. I was just wondering if this was from allergies. Thanks!

Hello welcome to HCM. You have got infection of the throat ( upper respiratory infection).You need to start with the antibitiocsafter taking advice from your doctor. Please do the salt water gargling 3-4 times with steam inhalation.Gargling tries to soothens the throat and decreases the swelling.You can also take cetrizine tablets for 3 days to suprress the sneezing if it is due to some air allergy.
