What Causes Tightness In Arms?

I am experiencing a tightness across the top of both my arms - as if a tight belt is wrapped around each arm. As a result the lower part of both arms are tingly and numb. It feels as though there is restricted blood flow to the area. Dead arms. I am fit and healthy and take no medication however recently I ve had high blood pressure (160/90) and have been asked to monitor my bp over 24hrs with a device I ll be wearing this weekend.
