What Causes Tightness In Chest Along With Muscle Aches While On Estradiol Patch?

hi, I had a total hysterectomy in Dec. I was prescribed the Vivelle patch and then my insurance switched me to the organic Estradiol Transdermal patch .05mg/day. I change it twice a week. Since then I have had heart attack like symptoms and tiredness muscle aches etc. All in all I was a very healthy person till this. I am just wondering if I should continue on this. Cause I am questioning if these are side effects from this little patch?

Hi,

There is risk with these patches and cardiovascular risks too. Do an ECG, blood pressure monitoring is required. But remain under the guidance of a gynecologist and a physician because both of them can actually guide you as physical examination should be done. Take antioxidants amla, aloe vera, basil, fruits, salads, and veggies. Do yoga and learn breathing exercises, they will definitely help in reducing any symptoms too.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
