What Causes Tightness In Chest Along With Stabbing Pain In Back And Laboured Breathing?

I had a breakdown and cried for hours. I got tight chest pains and it hurt to breathe. If I worked too hard I had to gasp for breath. Before doing a hard task I would hold my breath because breathing deeply hurt too much. I would then take a lot of shallow breaths until I was okay again. I went to the doctor and got an inhaler (finally, I needed one). I use the inhaler when I can t breathe and it helps a bit when it kicks in, but I still feel physical pain, just not as severe. The doctor said I could have lung inflammation and to take an Advil. I did and felt better, but now I m popping a pain killer everyday and using my inhaler once a day when I could usually manage before the whole breakdown. The pain goes from a tightness in the front to a sharp stabbing in the back, right through me. I m nervous to go for an X-ray, I just want to know possibilities first. Do you know what could be wrong with my chest?

Read and reviewed your query and health concerns.
IN the given situation, You seems to suffer from-Anxiety Neurosis with Panick attacks.Other causes could be - hidden ,undetected GERD/ Hepatitis/Asthma/Angina pectoris/ Peptic disease /Gastritis with Asthma.

Other causes could be -accompanied Aortic aneurysm /growing SOL in chest/ Gall Stone Colick with dyspepsia.

Consults with Physician and Chest Surgeon with CT Scan and other investigation would fix the cause of tightness in chest with stabbing pain in back with laboured breathing.
