What Causes Tightness In Chest?

for the past few weeks iv'e been feeling a tightness/pressure in my chest. I don't have any other symptoms that would indicate heart problem and although I'm 50 I'm in pretty good shape at 6'1" 207 pounds. What else could be the cause? or is it related to my heart?

Hi, thanks for the query

Tightness in the chest is one of the commonest symptom of heart ailments. More so if its manifested after climbing stairs or other exertion. Its always good to rule out a heart disease by getting a stress ECG done. If everything turns out to be normal, we can look out for other symptoms related to gastrointestinal system.
