What Causes Tightness In Lower Back And Heaviness In Upper Back And Neck?

Since about October I have ben having a symptoms at are ard to describe but are worrying me. I have tightness in my lower back. I have pressure and heaviness in my upper back and neck. I have 2 lumps along my spine. M PCP did not think the lumps are of concern but I cant stand this heaviness. YYYY@YYYY

hi,

thank-you for providing the brief history of you.

as you mentioned you have Lumps in the spinal region and you have been facing the tightness of the lower back and neck muscles I will recommend you to first try doing hot water fermentation and then some relaxation exercises. post that stretching of the back muscle followed by this the Strengthening of spinal muscles. also do regular breathing exercises as it will help mobility of the thoracic spine as well.

in case after doing this if you feel still the tightness is left out to a certain degree then taking an MRI of the spine will reveal if anything soft tissue pathology is present. Also once the spine scan is normal you need not to worry as with the exercises you should be fine in the long run.

kindly follow this and I feel you should be fine with this. sometimes weakness of the spinal muscles gives lot of pressure and tightness feeling. with exercise it comes down oftenly.

Incase if the MRI shows some signs of soft tissue Injury we need to see what is it showing and based on that the next treatment plan will be organized.
