Cardiologist 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms could be related to gastritis or gastro-esophageal reflux. Anyway, I would recommend consulting with your attending physician for a physical exam and a routine check-up:

- a resting ECG
- complete blood count
- blood electrolytes.

An exercise cardiac stress test would help to definitely exclude any possible cardiac issues. In the meantime, I recommend trying an antiacid or PPI (omeprazole), before sleep.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
