What Causes Tightness In Neck, Swollen Tonsils And Uvula?

I have had a tight neck swollen tonsils and uvula for over a month. Health insurance doesn t kick in until January. I smoked for 12 years and quit 2 yeas ago, used chewing tobacco as well for a few years. I don t feel sick other than tightness in neck and throat. Not sore. No difficulty swallowing, it is actually better when eating

It seems to be due to Viral pharyngitis....u can take anti-inflammatory+ decongestant tabs eg. Diominic- DCA twice daily for a week. If still it persists then u need to consult ENT Surgeon.
