What Causes Tightness In Neck While Lying Down?

I m 21 and have noticed for two days now at bedtime, I feel the left side of my windpipe/neck feeling tight. Glands are not really swollen. I notice it first when I lay down at night and then I concentrate on it constantly after it. Not really noticeable during the daytime. Any suggestions?
