What Causes Tightness In Ribs And Chest When Running?

Hi,
I am 19 years old and a competitive swimmer in a D1 university. About 3 months ago is started to develop below symptoms.
Tightness around and under sternum
Started during high intensity work outs and weights in season
Discomfort when fully exhaling
Tightness in ribs and chest when running
Started to become a real discomfort after bench press test set - In season
Became annoying when flip turning in the pool
Stopped swimming - still annoying even when rested on a full exhale .
Had a full cardio stress done plus ultra sound and the doctor cleared me of any heart issues.
Regards, Matthew
