General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
Experiencing tightness in calf muscles of the legs could be caused due to calcium and related mineral deficiency, accumulation of lactic acid and electrolyte imbalance.
Kindly supplement yourself with calcium, phosphorus and magnesium in the form of syrup or tablets. Also increase the intake of calcium rich foods.
To prevent accumulation of lactic acid, drink good quantity of fluids with citrus fruit juices.
For electrolyte imbalance, consume electrolyte powder dissolved in water ot oral rehydration solution (ORS) regularly.
Gradually, you should overcome with these symptoms.
Hope the information provided would be useful.
All the best.
