What Causes Tightness In The Chest After An Injury?

Upon arising in the early morning hours to use the bathroom, when I got up I was blind in my left eye and tried to walk to the bathroom and my body went over to the right and I caught myself on the door facing and did not fall. There is a tightness to my chest area but no pain.

Hi There

I've read your query and understanding your concern.

I would like to tell you this chest tightness that you are feeling can be because of injury to muscle. Deep breathing or coughing can increase the pain. But you need not worry you can take care of this at home .

- wrap ice pack in cloth and put it over injured area for 10-20 min.
- rest and protect the injured area.
- you can take Ibruphan SOS

It can take around a week to get normal

Wish you Good Luck
