What Causes Tightness In The Chest And Shoulder Blade Pain?

I have had a pain on left side of back below my shoulder blade and tonight it felt like someone hit me with a board, I had tightness in my back and left side of chest. Took an asprian and laid on right side--hurt to lay on left. Then after a while I burped a little bit and it helped some, is it just gas or heart? Back still hurts some.

Hello dear
I understand your concern
Your symptoms could be due to heart problem, gastritis, pancreatitis, indigestion.
I would suggest to consult internal medicine specialist and undergo examination, blood tests like CK, CK MB, troponin, amylase, ECG scan, USG scan if needed to confirm cause.
Specific treatment depend on cause.
Take tablet ibuprofen
Tablet ranitidine, tablet gas X
Take proper rest and do regular exercise
