Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

Cervical spondylosis may lead to tightness and irritation of the nerves, spasm of muscles leading to tightness.

Treatment may depend upon the severity of the condition and symptomatology. Need MRI of cervical spine for diagnosis.

Mild problem may get relieved with pain killers and muscle relaxant. Severe problems need anterior disectomy or laminectomy surgery.

Please consult your neurosurgeon whoe will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu
