General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi.
Tightness in my throat and it feels like something is constantly strangling can be due to pharyngitis.
During pregnancy there rare many physiological changes.
Consult an ENT Surgeon to confirm whether this is just a physiological change or actually there is a lump.
Thyroid problems are known to cause this problem IF the ENT Endoscopy is normal this can be taken as a globus, known to occur in pregnancy. Just try to forget this as I would not like anyone with 12 weeks of pregnancy to take any medicines .
