What Causes Tightness Sensation And Pain In The Abdomen?

Hi. I just made an appointment to see an ENT and my regular doctor, because I ve been having some weird things happen in the last week or so. It started with a weird feeling in my throat, like a lump that comes and goes... small burps... and I felt weird tightness in my abdomen, but it feels like the tightness travels...I ll feel it on my right then on my left, then towards my back... I feel very boated today, and have a sharp pain right in the middle of my belly, like if I ve over eaten and feel very full, but I haven t had very much to eat today. I kind of thought they were just weird symptoms caused by my menstrual cycle, because I ve been feeling weird around that time of the month lately and I turned 43 this year, so thinking it s hormonal changes... but the symptoms are starting to scare me, so I ve scheduled the appointments. Wondering what kind of tests/screenings I should ask for?

I believe it's due to hormonal changes, that's causing more gastritis to you. However you should do an Ultrasonography to rule out biliary pathology such as Gallstone. Besides, you should undergo a stool test, and an urine analysis to rule out alternative diagnosis.
Your doctor could provide you some PPIs and antacids to solve the problem before final diagnosis is confirmed.
