What Causes Tightness Sensation In The Chest Area?
I have a tightness in the center of my chest. I noticed the same thing happen about a month ago. I noticed it then when I was cleaning and scrubbing. It went away the next day. Today it came back. I was cleaning for four hours the day before. It really hurts when I exhale but not inhale. What could it be? Tracy

Your work up done as follow...
-Physical examination and Auscultation
-Chest x ray if needed
-pulmonary function test
-CBC
According to cause specific treatment given
If allergic inflammation present (by spirometry and CBC will show eosinophila) than fexofenedine like drug prescribed
If bacterial infection is the cause than suitable antibiotic prescribed
Take care
Consult pulmonologoist for examination and accordingly treated
