What Causes Tingling And Burning Sensation On The Face?
This morning,I felt a sudden tingling ,burning sensation on my face, as well as tingling numbness on my tongue .I also felt dizzy for about 2-3 minutes. In the recent past,re were a few incidents where I felt the tingling burning feelin on my fabe and the front of my head,but never the tongue sensation.
Understanding your concern. The symptoms you mention in query are indication nerve disorder, most probable cause is trigeminal neuralgia due to nerve impingement and pressure on nerves. Sometimes such symptoms can also occur due to lack of blood supply to concern part or vitamin B12 supplement. I would suggest you to consult neurosurgeon or oral surgeon for proper diagnosis and to rule out condition. Doctor will take history and examine physically. Doctor may also order MRI of face and neck region to find out nerve injury or compression. Doctor may prescribe anticonvulsant drug (carbatrol) , muscle relaxant like baclofen , recommend facial exercise or physical therapy of face.
