What Causes Tingling And Numbness In The Hands And Feet?

I have tingling and numbness in my limbs, hands, feet, fingers and feel as if muscles are burning from the inside out. am very fatigued and am seeing a neurologist who is ordering sleep study - what does this have to do with the pain in my hands, feet, toes, fingers, groin etc? I have tested positive for ANA. I am not overweight and actually 15lbs below avg and was told I have sleep apnea as one diagnosis - I am wondering about second opinion

Hi,

If your muscles are causing you a burning feeling very likely there is inflammation of the muscles and the doctors need to rule out myositis as the cause of it.

Having positive ANA might be normal in a few patients but in some it is an indication of an autoimmune condition. You might need to talk with your doctor on tests needed to rule out autoimmune conditions and especially myositis (dermatomyositis).

Hope I have answered your query.
