What Causes Tingling And Swelling In Cheeks After Tooth Extraction?

Yesturday, I had tooth #13 extracted due to breakage that lead to abscess forming. Procedure went wonderful, have had no problems with extraction sight. This am, woke up with tingling in my lower lip, and swelling. As the day has gone on, the swelling in my lip has improved, but now my chin is swollen so tight, it is tingling. It is so tight,sensitive, and hot to the touch. At first I thought it was maybe a reaction to the anesthesia, but now I m worried it may be infection. Should I be concerned???

Hi,
From history it seems that there might be having aggravation of infection due to extraction and its procedure leading to spread of infection in sub mandibular lymph nodes.
You might require one course of antibiotic and anti-inflammatory medicine course for 3-5 days.
Do hot water gargles.
Take soft and light diet for 2-3 days.
Ok and take care.
