What Causes Tingling And Warm Sensation In Vagina And Anus?
Hi. I was a question as to whether or not I should visit my doctor. I haven t had a pap-smear in a few years. I m 28 years old and have a lot of health issues, including a bad issue with my back/pelvic bone. I am married & sexually active. For the past few months I ve experienced severe cramping constantly. But for the past couple weeks, I ve started to get a severe tingling & warm sensation in my vagina multiple times, along with a couple times near the anal area. So should I be concerned?
General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
Hi,
With history of issues with your back bone and pelvis. The feeling of warmth and tingling in the vagina and anus needs to be checked for probable problem in sacral vertebrae / quadequina syndrome. Please consult your spinal surgeon for needful investigations like MRI of lumbo-sacral region, followed by specific management in time.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Vasudha Jayant Athavale, General & Family Physician
