Hello!

Welcome and thank you for asking on HCM!

I understand your concern and would explain that your symptoms may be related to anxiety.

A seizure could also mimic these clinical scenario.

But a transitory ischemic attack can not be excluded. The fact that you have been smoking weed for 7 years is really concerning.

How long did your symptoms last? Are they repeated during the day?

I recommend consulting with your GP for a careful physical examination, a resting ECG, a chest x ray study and some blood lab tests:

-complete blood count
-blood electrolytes
-PCR, sedimentation rate
-kidney and liver function tests
-fasting glucose

An EEG may be needed to exclude possible seizures if suspicions are raised.

If all the above mentioned tests are normal, the main cause of your symptoms would be just pure anxiety.

Hope to have been helpful!

Feel free to ask any other questions, whenever you need!

Greetings!

Dr. Iliri
