What Causes Tingling In Lower Lips And Chin?

My lower lip/chin tingles when I barely touch my chin in the mental nerve area. Ive also fallen asleep before and had my lower lip tingle/numbness when I woke up but never just when I touched it. Before I thought it might have been allergies until now.
