What Causes Tingling In The Fingers?

My finger tips, especially my left pointer, turn white when cold, loose sensation, and hurt until sensation and tingling begins. sometimes this loss of sensation to pain lasts as long as 30 minutes. My finger nail wont grow for a period of time on my pointer finger. I'm epileptic and was wondering if the two could be relalated, especially sense I might be having seizures again after being seizure free for years. I have also been having hot and cold flashes and feel very anxious at times.
