What Causes Tingling In The Left Side Of The Body?

I have tingling on my left side of my body. it started with my fingers to my hands to my arms ..i went to the emergency room and they told me that i may have a pinched nerve because they did a sensation test and all kinds of physical exams and an ekg test. The EKG test was normal. now that i am back at home i feel it in my left side of my face sometimes it moves i feel it in my right leg, my right arm, my back and the back of my head. What could it be?
